The Pinacate Middle School Counseling Department supports students in academics, social-emotional well-being, and college/career readiness. Our goal is to ensure every student feels supported, connected, and prepared for success in middle school and beyond.
If you are in crisis or in danger to yourself or others, call 911 immediately. If you are at school, let an adult know and go to the front office to see a counselor.

Welcome to Pinacate Middle School! My door is always open for visits, and I am here to support students in any way they need, whether it's regarding schedules, personal matters, or academics. I have been a counselor for 20 years and am passionate about my job, particularly enjoying my work with students at this age. For the past 11 years, I have also served as the girls' soccer
coach.

I’m so excited to be back at the middle school I once attended! After teaching math here for 9 years, I’m now in my 4th year as your counselor. I’m a proud mom of four boys, love hiking, and cheering on the Dodgers. This year, I’m excited to support you as you continue to grow, learn, and level up both in school and in life!

Having been a student at Pinacate Middle School, I know these years are full of learning and discovering who you are. Entering my 5th year as a counselor, I love supporting everyone in our school, helping them discover their strengths, make a positive impact, and welcoming them to reach out to me and work together. Fun fact: I love pink—it’s my little reminder to stay positive and bring a bright attitude to every day with everyone.
